- This is a view of George Yard from my back door. I have anticipated the redevelopment of the Civic complex and have represented the building during the months it was mysteriously shrouded in scaffolding and plastic. With the exception of numerous pigeon gangs, Barnsley town centre is eerily still and silent many nights of the week
